Seeking to hire a Front Desk Receptionist.

This position offers customer service and administrative responsibilities in an exciting, fast-paced environment with a talented and fast-growing team. The Front Desk Receptionist greets visitors, answers the telephone, responds to both routine and emergency inquiries, and performs various clerical duties.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary/Objective The receptionist performs routine clerical, secretarial, and administrative work in answering telephones, receiving the public, providing customer assistance, data processing, and is responsible for the administrative support of day-to-day human resource operations.

  • Answers phones for the divisions main line and directs calls accordingly.
  • Greets and directs visitors and answers questions in person and by telephone; responds to inquiries from employees and others and refers when necessary to the appropriate person or department.
  • Assists walk-in applicants with completing on-line employment applications.
  • Ensures all HR forms are stocked up in wall pockets.
  • Assemble New Hire Packets and ensure there are sufficient packets available for New Hire Orientation.
  • Send out New Hire announcement emails to management.
  • Create employee badges and parking IDs.
  • Create new employee personnel files, medical files, and termination files.
  • File employee documents in personnel files (i.e., active, medical, and terminated).
  • Scan bi-weekly timesheets and paid time off requests.
  • Request Dayforce password resets for employees.
  • Assists the HR Department with HR projects.

Supervisory Responsibility This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in an office setting.

Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel, or operate objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand, talk, and hear.

Position Type Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Travel No travel is required.

Required Education and Experience High school diploma plus two years of office/clerical support experience.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Associate Degree preferred
  • Previous experience handling a front desk
  • HR administrative experience
  • Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, and Power Point

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

  • Fluent in English
  • Spanish required
  • Work Authorization: Must be eligible to work in the United States.
  • Security Clearance if applicable
