Job Position: Bilingual Practice Manager

Location: Austin, TX 78752

Pay Rate: starting at $25.00/hr+

Shift: Part-Time 25-30 hours a week

Our client is a local nonprofit organization that provides comprehensive eye exams, vision screenings, and free prescription glasses to underserved children and families. We are seeking a bilingual, organized, and personable Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of their optometry office. This role will be responsible for managing the front-office team, supporting an excellent patient experience, and ensuring the practice operates efficiently and professionally.

Key Responsibilities:
-Insurance Verification: Manage and oversee daily insurance verification, including verifying eligibility, benefits, copays, deductibles, and coverage prior to patient appointments. Ensure information is accurate and communicated to the team and patients.
-Supply Management: Monitor office and clinical supply levels, place orders, maintain inventory, and coordinate with vendors to ensure the office has the necessary supplies at all times.
-Professional Development: Lead ongoing staff training and professional development to improve patient service, efficiency, product knowledge, and overall team performance.

Qualifications:
-Previous experience in an optometry, medical, dental, or healthcare office preferred.
-Previous management or supervisory experience preferred.
-Bilingual English/Spanish required.
-Strong understanding of insurance verification and benefits preferred.
-Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
-Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
-Professional, friendly, and patient-focused.
-Comfortable learning and using practice management and insurance systems.
-Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
