LCH is seeking a compassionate, bilingual (Spanish-English) team member to help patients access the care and resources they need. This role combines front desk, patient enrollment, and patient support responsibilities to ensure patients have a positive experience throughout their healthcare journey.


What You'll Do
  • Welcome and register new patients in our electronic health record (EHR) system
  • Schedule appointments and assist with patient follow-up
  • Verify insurance information and help patients understand coverage options
  • Assist eligible patients with insurance enrollment and the Sliding Fee Discount Program
  • Enroll patients in the patient portal
  • Answer phones, return voicemails, and respond to emails in a timely manner
  • Coordinate referrals, specialty appointments, lab visits, and imaging services
  • Provide interpretation services as needed
  • Connect patients with transportation, social services, and community resources
  • Screen patients for Social Determinants of Health (SDOH) as appropriate
  • Maintain accurate documentation and patient confidentiality
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to patients, families, and visitors
Qualifications
  • Fluent in Spanish and English (required)
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Computer proficiency; EHR experience preferred
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment
  • Current driver's license (PA, DE, or MD)
