Award-winning, private outpatient practice currently hiring a Bilingual CMA with 6 mo - 1 year of Orthopedic experience to join our multi-provider team in Dallas, TX 75243. RATE: $20.07 - $23.00/hr | Granted based on experience
Mon to Fri, 8 - 5p | 40hrs/wk
REQUIREMENTS:
- Medical Assistant with at least 1 year of experience *REQUIRED*
- 6 months to 1 year of Orthopedic experience *REQUIRED*
- Bilingual - fluent in English and Spanish *REQUIRED*
- Ability to perform clinical tasks accurately and professionally.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Teamwork, communication, & patient service skills across diverse populations.
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) - Active certification, or able to obtain after starting
- Cast Tech HIGHLY PREFERRED
Job Summary
- Prepare patients with spine, cervical, and ortho podiatry issues for exam and treatment, explain procedures, support physicians during exams.
- Prepare exam/treatment rooms, sterilization, trays, supplies & equipment.
- Address questions, appointments, and communication between patients and providers.
- Cast, splint, wound care, fracture care, and suture removal. (Cast Tech preferred)
- Perform intake procedures, collect medical histories and maintain accurate documentation in EMR Centricity.
- Assist with clinical procedures, including medication administration, wound care, and X-rays as needed.
