Position OverviewPlumino Precision Fermentation USA, Inc. is seeking a highly organized and proactive COO Assistant / Bilingual Operations Coordinator to support the Chief Operating Officer in the day-to-day management and coordination of our U.S. fermentation-based amino acid manufacturing operations.This position will serve as a key communication bridge between the U.S. operations team and Chinese-speaking corporate and management teams. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese, possess excellent communication and coordination skills, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide daily administrative, business, and operational support to the COO.Assist the COO in coordinating activities across key plant functions, including Production, Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering and Maintenance, Environmental Health and Safety (EHS), Projects, Finance, Human Resources, and other departments.Track key action items, operational priorities, projects, and management decisions, and follow up with the responsible departments to ensure timely completion.Attend management and operations meetings, prepare meeting minutes, document action items, and follow up on agreed-upon actions.Facilitate communication between the U.S. plant and Chinese-speaking corporate or management teams.Provide professional English–Chinese translation and interpretation for meetings, discussions, presentations, emails, reports, and other business communications.Assist with scheduling, business meetings, visitor coordination, and other management-related activities.Exercise appropriate discretion when handling confidential business and employee information.QualificationsBachelor's degree or higher in Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Biological Engineering, Biotechnology, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemistry, Biology, Industrial Engineering, Food Science, Pharmaceutical Engineering, or another related engineering or scientific discipline.Fluency in both English and Mandarin Chinese, including speaking, listening, reading, and writing.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.Willingness and ability to work on-site in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.Preferred QualificationsPrevious professional or internship experience in amino acid production, chemical manufacturing, biotechnology, fermentation, pharmaceuticals, food ingredients, environmental services, or another process manufacturing environment.Experience working in a multinational or cross-cultural organization.Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate combines excellent bilingual communication skills with strong organizational abilities, initiative, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate effectively across multiple departments.This position is well suited for someone seeking broad exposure to the management and operations of a multinational manufacturing company and interested in developing a long-term career in operations management, project management, or business management.
