Job Title: Bilingual Member Service RepresentativeLocation: Mobile Branch (Work at any location serviced in our field of membership as needed.)Status: Full-Time (40 hours a week, some Saturdays and evenings required)Reports to: Branch Manager Position PurposeResponsible for performing a broad variety of financial services such as processing deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cashiers' checks, money orders, and cash advances, opening and closing accounts, renewing certificate accounts, originating consumer loans and assisting members with account inquiries. Balances each day's transactions and verifies cash totals. Cross sells credit union services and products to meet member needs. Essential Duties, Skills & AbilitiesExhibit outstanding member services skills by applying Granite Credit Union Service Standards and Core Values.Promote a positive and welcoming atmosphere within the branch.Resolve member requests and questions promptly, courteously, and professionally.Proven ability to promote a team environment.Ability to perform teller, new account and lending operations.Sets monthly cross selling goals with manager. Collaborates with team members to achieve branch goals and personal goals.Educate members about our products and services to meet their financial needs.Ensure that all information and transactions regarding credit union members are kept confidential. Maintain the security of the work area and keep it organized and neat in appearance.Maintain a professional and courteous attitude with all people, including fellow employees, members, management staff, board members, and outside vendors.Assist other employees in the branch by answering questions, solving problems, and helping with complex work-related matters.Work at any location serviced in our field of membership as needed.Willing to drive vehicle, when necessary, will need an updated non-expired driver license. Ensure ATM is balanced at the close of the day.Handle Glia calls and live chats to assist members with inquiriesProfessionally express oneself through written and oral communication. Promote a professional appearance and attitude. Basic computer operating skills such as email, Microsoft Office, etc.Other duties as assigned.Attend meetings as required.Must comply with all company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control. ExperienceAt least one year of experience in a financial institution. Prefer experience with new accounts and loan origination. Bilingual English and Spanish ability highly preferred.
