Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated bilingual Medical Receptionist to join our front office team. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, personable, and capable of handling a variety of administrative and clinical support tasks in a busy medical setting.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Greet and check in patients in a friendly and professional manner
  • Answer and direct phone calls, manage voicemails, and schedule appointments
  • Handle insurance verifications and prior authorization requests
  • Maintain and update patient records with accuracy and confidentiality
  • Perform general office duties such as filing, scanning, and faxing documents
  • Coordinate with other staff to ensure smooth office operations
Additional Responsibilities:


Willingness to cross-train and assist in various clinical support areas, which may include:


  • Collecting urine drug screens
  • Taking and recording patient vital signs
  • Rooming patients and preparing them for their visit with the provider
Qualifications:


  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous medical office or receptionist experience a plus
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems a plus
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail and customer service orientation
  • Willingness to assist with light clinical duties (training provided if needed)
