Bilingual Certified Medical Assistant - Mobile Clinic
Location: Houston TX 77054
Starting Pay Rate:Â $21.00 / Hour + (Based on experience)
Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Dean's Professional Services is seeking an experienced and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to support a mobile clinic team in Houston, TX. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who thrives in a dynamic, community-based setting and is passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centered care across diverse populations.
Responsibilities
- Collect and document patient information including vital signs, height/weight, BMI, medical history, medications, and allergies with a high level of accuracy

- Assist in gathering biophysical, psychosocial, developmental, cultural, and environmental patient data
Â
- Prepare patients for exams and assist providers with clinical procedures as needed
Â
- Perform basic clinical tasks including specimen collection, point-of-care testing, and treatments (e.g., nebulizer treatments, ear irrigation, dressing changes)
Â
- Utilize medical equipment such as thermometers, pulse oximeters, blood pressure monitors, and screening tools
Â
- Update patient records and ensure all documentation is accurate and compliant with clinic protocols
Â
- Support patient flow and coordinate care with providers and clinical staff in a fast-paced mobile environment
Â
- Maintain infection control standards in accordance with OSHA and CLIA/COLA guidelines
Â
- Provide culturally sensitive, age-appropriate care to pediatric and adult patients
Â
- Deliver excellent customer service and communication to patients, families, and team members
Â
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
Â
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant or EMT program required
Â
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent certification required
Â
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience required
Â
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) required
Â
- Current BLS certification (AHA) required
Â
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, clinical procedures, and patient care practices
Â
- Experience with basic lab equipment (centrifuge, microscope, specimen collection) preferred
Â
- Familiarity with pediatric care and mobile or community health settings a plus
Â
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
Â
- Ability to adapt to a mobile clinic environment and work effectively in a team setting
Â
Accepted Certifications Include:
CCMA (NHA), CMA (AAMA), RMA, NCMA, NRCMA, or EMT/Paramedic certifications (Texas DSHS)
