Descriptive Summary The Medical Assistant role requires solid people skills as MA's are required to navigate relationships with the medical team, clients and other departmental teams. Core Functions - Welcomes clients by greeting them in person
- Verify client information regarding medical history
- Assit
- Explaining treatment procedures to patients
- Preparing patients for examinations
- Assisting the Provider’s during consultations
- Preparing and administering shots, including by intramuscular, intradermal, and subcutaneous injections—as directed by a physician or other licensed provider (e.g., a nurse practitioner or physician assistant)
- Assist Provider with Sales of services and products
- Be knowledgeable on all products and procedures that are offered in the office, including skincare products
- Obtaining client before and after photos
