Bilingual Healthcare Customer Service Rep

You'll help members understand their healthcare benefits, resolve concerns, and access important services. We're looking for someone who can deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining accurate documentation and meeting call center performance goals.

LOCATION & SCHEDULE

Location: Fort Worth, TX (Onsite)

Pay: $21.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

ROLE IMPACT

As a Bilingual Member Services Representative, you'll be a trusted resource for healthcare plan members and providers. Your ability to communicate clearly, resolve concerns, and explain healthcare benefits will help members access the care and support they need. Success means delivering compassionate service, maintaining accurate records, and meeting quality and productivity expectations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Handle inbound calls from healthcare plan members and providers regarding benefits, eligibility, medical services, and account updates
• Research and resolve member complaints, grievances, and access-to-care concerns while professionally de-escalating difficult situations
• Accurately document member interactions, update demographic and Primary Care Provider (PCP) information, and maintain confidential records
• Explain healthcare programs, renewal requirements, medical transportation, and available member resources in English and Spanish
• Meet established call center performance standards, including phone metrics and a minimum 80% call notes accuracy score

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS – KEY RECRUITING REQUIREMENTS

• BILINGUAL ENGLISH/SPANISH REQUIRED: Must communicate fluently in both languages and successfully pass a Spanish proficiency test before hire
• Minimum 1 year of call center or medical setting experience
• Medical terminology

EDUCATION 

• High school diploma or equivalent required

CORE SKILLS & SYSTEMS

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, metrics-driven call center with high call volumes and quality expectations
• Strong customer service, active listening, conflict resolution, and de-escalation skills
• Accurate data entry, call documentation, and multitasking abilities
• Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and web-based applications
• Healthcare member management systems, eligibility verification, and electronic account documentation
