Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Bilingual (Spanish) Front Desk Medical Receptionist who thrives in a high-volume environment. This role is critical to creating a professional, efficient, and welcoming atmosphere for our patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and check in patients in a courteous and professional manner
- Verify patient demographics, insurance, and required documentation
- Manage incoming calls, scheduling, and appointment confirmations
- Collect copays, balances, and maintain accurate payment records
- Ensure all intake forms and authorizations are completed prior to visits
- Coordinate with clinical staff, providers, and billing department
- Maintain confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Manage high patient volume while maintaining accuracy and efficiency
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years front desk experience in a medical office (required)
- Experience in orthopedic, spine, or surgical practice (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of insurance verification and patient registration workflows
- Experience with EMR systems (Modmed preferred)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced setting
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Bilingual (Spanish)
