Additional Information:
To provide clerical, instructional, and logistical support to professional staff working with the Adult Learning Center grant-funded programs.
Specific duties include:
• Assist in providing individualized instruction in reading, math, language, computers, and workplace readiness skills. • Assist in record keeping and miscellaneous clerical tasks. • Assist with computer instruction in Microsoft WORD, EXCEL, and ACCESS • Other duties as assigned by project staff or administration.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or GED plus 48 college credits required or Passed ParaPro Assessment Test
Ability to effectively motivate and relate to adults and out-of-school youth Excellent communication skills (oral and written) required Computer proficiency and organizational skills required Bilingual (Spanish/English)
SALARY: $23.50 / hour Pending Budgetary Approval
