We're hiring a Bilingual Elementary School Teacher (Spanish) for a 44-week school-year contract supporting students in a collaborative K-8 Charter School environment. This role offers 35 guaranteed hours per week and the opportunity to work alongside an ESL-certified co-teacher and a teacher aide.

What You'll Do
\n
- \n
- Deliver engaging bilingual instruction in Spanish and English.
- \n
- Teach General Education curriculum to elementary students.
- \n
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans.
- \n
- Create a structured, positive, and inclusive classroom environment.
- \n
- Monitor student progress and adapt instruction to individual learning needs.
- \n
- Collaborate with the co-teacher, teacher aide, and school staff.
- \n
- Support student engagement while following school policies and curriculum requirements.

Required Qualifications
\n
- \n
- Experience working with K-8 students.
- \n
- Valid DOE Instructional Teaching Certificate.
- \n
- Valid DOE Bilingual Endorsement (Spanish).
- \n
- Native or bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English.
- \n
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- \n
- Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative instructional team.
- \n

Important Certification Requirement
\n
Candidates must hold the required DOE Bilingual Endorsement (Spanish).
\n
- \n
- ESL-only endorsements are not accepted.
- \n
- Spanish language proficiency alone does not meet the certification requirement.
- \n

Classroom Environment
\n
\n
You'll join a supportive classroom with an ESL-certified co-teacher and a teacher aide, allowing for collaborative instruction and student-centered learning.
