Job Description
Summary: We are seeking a skilled Bilingual Diesel Mechanic (English/Spanish) to join our team in Haltom City, TX. In this role, you will be instrumental in diagnosing, servicing, and repairing diesel engines, heavy equipment, and integrated hydraulic systems to keep our machinery and customer equipment running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on industrial diesel engines, commercial trucks, and heavy equipment.
- Safely operate and maintain shop equipment, hand tools, and industrial power tools.
- Inspect, repair, and overhaul hydraulic systems, pumps, valves, and cylinders.
- Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic faults using electronic diagnostic equipment and technical schematics.
- Collaborate with shop leadership and team members to optimize repair workflows and ensure workplace safety.
- Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean, organized, and in optimal working condition.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Experience:1–2 years of mechanical experience as a Diesel Mechanic, Heavy Equipment Technician, or Mechanical Shop Assistant.
- Tool Proficiency: Proven knowledge and hands-on experience safely operating power tools, hand tools, and shop machinery.
- Technical Knowledge: Solid mechanical foundation with an understanding of diesel engines, power trains, and hydraulic circuits.
- Bilingual Requirement:Proficiency in both English and Spanish is required for clear safety and technical communication across the team.
- Blueprints & Schematics: Ability to read and interpret technical schematics, hydraulic diagrams, and repair manuals.
- Location & Commute: Ability to reliably commute in-person to Haltom City, TX 76117.
