Bilingual Customer Service Representative - State Farm Team Member

Position Overview

Misty Virgil State Farm is hiring a bilingual (Spanish/English) Customer Service Representative in Mesa, AZ. This is an in-office, part-time role working 30-35 hours per week. We're looking for someone who enjoys helping people, communicates clearly, and can provide dependable service to customers in both Spanish and English. You'll receive hands-on training and coaching from a local agency team that values consistency, reliability, and professional growth.

No insurance experience is required. We'll help you get licensed: you'll have 90 days to obtain your Property & Casualty (P&C) license, the agency will pay for one exam attempt, and your pay increases once you pass.

Responsibilities

  • Assist customers by phone, in person, and through agency communication channels
  • Provide customer service in both Spanish and English with clarity, patience, and professionalism
  • Help customers with payments, policy questions, account updates, and general service requests
  • Follow up with customers to make sure questions and service needs are resolved
  • Review customer needs and connect them with the appropriate licensed team member when additional coverage or policy changes are needed
  • Document calls, notes, and customer updates accurately in the agency's system
  • Build positive relationships with customers through consistent and reliable service
  • Complete licensing classes and ongoing product education

Qualifications

  • Fluent in Spanish and English (required)
  • Friendly, professional, and confident communicating with customers by phone and in person
  • Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
  • Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple customer requests
  • Willing to obtain the Property & Casualty license within 90 days of hire (agency pays for one exam attempt)
  • Coachable, upbeat, and happy working as part of a team
  • Experience not necessary — full training provided

Pay

  • $18.00 per hour to start
  • $19.00 per hour once you pass your P&C licensing exam
  • Part-time schedule: 30-35 hours per week
