Bilingual Collections Analyst

Conduct high-volume outreach to customers with past-due balances, negotiate payment commitments, and resolve billing issues that delay payment. Our client is seeking someone who can manage customer outreach, resolve payment barriers, and maintain accurate account documentation from day one.

Bilingual Collections Analyst
Locations: Atlanta, Georgia | Onsite
Salary: $25 per hour

ROLE SUMMARY:

Conduct high-volume outreach to customers with past-due balances, negotiate payment commitments, and resolve billing issues that delay payment. Manage account risk, collection documentation, credit holds, and escalation materials for accounts requiring agency or legal review.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Contact customers by phone and email regarding past-due balances.
• Negotiate payment terms and follow up to confirm agreed payments are received.
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies, missing purchase orders, and proof-of-delivery issues.
• Review aging reports, identify high-risk accounts, and recommend collection actions.
• Place accounts on credit hold according to policy and notify Sales of status changes.
• Track lien deadlines and organize documentation for preliminary notices or lien filings.
• Prepare complete credit files for referral to collection agencies or legal counsel.
• Record collection activity accurately and promptly in ERP and credit systems.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

• Fluency in Spanish and English.
• At least two years of collections experience.
• Experience in business-to-business collections, accounts receivable, or finance.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to conduct frequent customer outreach and negotiate payment commitments.
• Ability to research account discrepancies and coordinate their resolution.
• Ability to maintain accurate, timely, and legally defensible collection records.
