Language Requirement: Must speak Hindi, Bengali, Marathi, Gujarati, or another language or dialect commonly spoken in India.

As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in improving quality of life and bringing comfort, dignity, and support to those who need it most.

Case Details

• Palatine, Illinois
• Approximately six-hour shifts, five to six days per week
• Schedule may be shared between two caregivers
• Anticipated start in late August
• Familiarity with Indian culture is preferred

As a Personal Care Aide, You'll Contribute to Our Success in the Following Ways:

• Provide personal care support, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene assistance
• Assist the client with mobility, transfers, and daily living activities
• Encourage safe movement and activity in accordance with the established care plan
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and other household tasks
• Provide companionship and emotional support to improve quality of life
• Promote a safe, comfortable, and respectful home environment

What Is Required?

• Ability to speak Hindi, Bengali, Marathi, Gujarati, or another language or dialect commonly spoken in India
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Professional or personal experience caring for elderly or disabled individuals preferred
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable transportation to and from the client's home
• Ability to lift, stand, bend, and assist the client as needed, up to 50 pounds
