BILINGUAL AUTO COLLECTIONS & BANKRUPTCY SPECIALIST

LOCATION: Irving, TX | Hybrid after successful completion of training

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE

• $20–$24/hour, depending on experience

• Monday–Friday: 8am–6pm; Saturdays as needed

ROLE IMPACT

Manage automotive loan accounts with a focus on auto collections, delinquent accounts, and bankruptcy-related servicing. This role requires hands-on experience in automotive finance collections, knowledge of bankruptcy processes, and the ability to communicate effectively with English- and Spanish-speaking customers. Success requires resolving delinquent accounts, maintaining compliance with collection regulations, and accurately managing bankruptcy-related account activity.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage delinquent automotive loan accounts, including outbound and inbound collection calls, past-due balances, payment arrangements, and account resolution.

• Handle auto loan accounts involved in bankruptcy proceedings, including Chapter 7 and Chapter 13, while following applicable bankruptcy regulations and collection restrictions.

• Negotiate payment arrangements, process payments, and follow up on delinquent accounts to improve recovery and reduce outstanding balances.

• Research account discrepancies, review loan and payment histories, and accurately document collection activity, bankruptcy status, and account updates.

• Follow applicable debt collection regulations, bankruptcy guidelines, and company policies while protecting confidential financial information.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bilingual English/Spanish required, with the ability to communicate professionally and effectively in both languages.

• Previous automotive collections or auto loan servicing experience required, including direct experience managing delinquent accounts, payment arrangements, and collection activity. General customer service experience alone does not qualify.

• Hands-on bankruptcy account experience required, including familiarity with Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy processes and restrictions affecting collection activity.

• Customer account documentation and collection activity tracking

• Microsoft Office and standard computer applications

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Experience with auto finance lenders, automotive loan portfolios, or financial services collections.

• Knowledge of FDCPA, bankruptcy collection restrictions, and regulatory compliance.

• Experience managing high-volume collection queues and resolving complex delinquent or bankruptcy-related accounts.
