Position Summary

As an Assistant Maintenance Technician, you will support the daily maintenance operations of the community by completing service requests, assisting with apartment turns, and performing a variety of repair and maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate will be bilingual in English and Spanish and able to communicate effectively with residents, vendors, and team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests and work orders in a timely and professional manner
• Perform general maintenance throughout the apartment community
• Conduct basic plumbing repairs and troubleshooting
• Diagnose and perform minor electrical repairs
• Troubleshoot and repair household appliances
• Complete carpentry, drywall repairs, painting, and general upkeep
• Assist with apartment turns and make-ready preparation
• Help maintain the overall appearance and functionality of the property
• Follow all safety policies and procedures
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and staff

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish required
• Previous apartment maintenance experience required
• Strong knowledge of general maintenance functions
• Experience with plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, drywall, and carpentry work
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
• Must possess and maintain your own basic maintenance tools
• Reliable transportation and strong attendance history
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
