NurseAmerica is seeking a dedicated Bilingual Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) for a full-time opportunity in Silver Spring, Maryland.

This is an excellent opportunity for an APP to provide a combination of outpatient clinical care and inpatient hospital coverage in a collaborative neurology practice. The ideal candidate will have strong neurology or neurosurgery experience, or be bilingual in English and Spanish or English and Amharic with strong clinical skills and excellent patient communication abilities.

• Provide comprehensive patient care in outpatient clinic and inpatient hospital settings.

• Conduct patient histories, physical examinations, and clinical assessments.

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with neurological conditions.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

• Provide follow-up care and monitor patient progress.

• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care.

• Collaborate with neurologists, neurosurgeons, physicians, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team.

• Coordinate referrals, diagnostic testing, consultations, and follow-up appointments as needed.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.

• Provide inpatient hospital coverage as required.

• Participate in hospital call coverage a few days per month, potentially including one full weekend.

• Communicate effectively with patients and families from diverse backgrounds.

• Follow all applicable clinical, safety, and professional standards.

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.

• Active Maryland NP or PA license, or Compact eligibility.

• Current national board certification appropriate to the provider's role.

• Neurology or neurosurgery experience is strongly preferred.

• Candidates without neurology experience may be considered if they are bilingual in English and Spanish or English and Amharic.

• Highly experienced APPs from related specialties are encouraged to apply.

• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and patient-care skills.
