Job Overview


We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Bilingual Accountant with strong experience in QuickBooks and NetSuite and Spanish language proficiency to join our finance team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a diverse range of accounting functions to several locations, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance across multiple sectors. Duties

• Manage full-cycle corporate accounting activities, including journal entries, general ledger reconciliation, and accounts payable/receivable processing using NetSuite and other financial software.
• Prepare, analyze, and interpret financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and regulatory standards.
• Conduct balance sheet reconciliations, bank reconciliations, and account analysis to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
• Assist with regulatory reporting requirements, including tax filings and other statutory obligations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to optimize cash flow management and financial planning.
• Mentor junior team members in accounting best practices, technical accounting issues, and the use of accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, PeopleSoft, or similar platforms.

Skills

• Fluency in Spanish is required; excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
• Extensive experience with NetSuite ERP system for managing complex accounting processes.
• Support to transfer software from QuickBooks Desktop and Online to Netsuite.
• Strong knowledge of Excel.
• Proficiency in financial software including QuickBooks, Quicken, Sage, Xero, PeopleSoft or equivalent tools.
• Deep understanding of technical accounting concepts such as accrual accounting, double-entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, journal entries, and account reconciliation.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret financial reports accurately and prepare detailed financial statements.
• Experience with Accounts Payable and Receivable, Collections and Purchasing
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to perform cash flow analysis, budgeting, forecasting and financial management tasks confidently.
