    Sealed BIDS for the construction of the SPLOST 6 WATER MAIN EXTENSIONS - HWY 129 LOOP including

    approximately 9,063 lineal feet of 24-inch Class 350 Ductile Iron water main, 190 lineal feet of 30-inch steel

    casing and 9 Fire Hydrants, in Jackson County Georgia, will be received by The Authority Engineer until 3:30

    p.m., (Eastern Time) September 30, 2026, and then publicly opened and read aloud in the Jackson County Water

    and Sewerage Authority (JCWSA) Conference Room at 70 Authority Ave., Jefferson, GA 30549.

    The CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be examined at the following location:

    A pre-bid conference (attendance is not mandatory) will begin at the JCWSA office at 10:00 a.m. (Eastern

    Time) on September 9, 2026.

    Hard copies of the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS can be obtained from JCWSA, (706) 367-1741, ext. 307 upon nonrefundable

    payment of $300. Electronic copies of the contract documents will be made available for $25. All

    bidders must purchase contract documents from JCWSA.

    The Authority has acquired all necessary state and federal permits in connection with this project. The Authority

    has acquired 100% of the easements and rights-of-way in connection with this project.

    All BIDDERS must submit a Contractor E-Verify Affidavit. In accordance with Georgia law all bids not

    accompanied by the Contractor E-Verify Affidavit will be determined non-responsive and immediately rejected.
