Bid Coordinator - Structural Steel Fabrication

We're looking for an organized, detail-driven Bid Coordinator to support the estimating team at a structural steel fabricator in Houston, Texas. You'll keep the bid pipeline moving, from tracking incoming invitations to bid through assembling and submitting complete, on-time proposals.

Responsibilities:

• Track bid invitations, due dates, and pre-bid meetings; maintain the bid calendar and log
• Download, organize, and distribute plans, specs, and addenda to estimators
• Request and follow up on vendor and subcontractor quotes (detailing, erection, galvanizing, paint)
• Assemble bid packages and proposals, including forms, bonds, and qualifications, and submit on time
• Keep bid board/CRM records accurate and track bid results
• Coordinate with estimators, project managers, and customers on clarifications and RFIs

Requirements:

• 2+ years in bid coordination, estimating support, or project administration in construction, ideally steel fabrication
• Comfortable reading construction drawings and specs
• Experience with bid platforms such as BuildingConnected or ConstructConnect
• Strong Excel and document management skills
• Highly organized and able to juggle multiple deadlines
