    Description

    Key Responsibilities
    Data Engineering & Architecture (Snowflake)
    • Pipeline Development: Design, build, and maintain scalable, automated ETL/ELT data pipelines to ingest data from disparate sources (cloud, on-prem, APIs, streaming) into Snowflake.
    • Data Modeling: Architect and implement efficient data models within Snowflake using standard methodologies (Data Vault 2.0, Dimensional Modeling/Star Schema).
    • Performance Optimization: Optimize Snowflake performance through effective warehouse sizing, clustering keys, materialized views, query tuning, and storage optimization.
    • Data Governance & Security: Implement robust data security measures within Snowflake, including Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), data masking, and end-to-end data lineage tracking.
    Business Intelligence & Analytics (Power BI)
    • Semantic Modeling: Design and develop enterprise-grade Power BI semantic models (datasets) that serve as a single source of truth for corporate reporting.
    • Advanced DAX & Power Query: Write complex, high-performance DAX measures and utilize Power Query (M) for efficient data transformation and mashups.
    • Dashboard Development: Create intuitive, visually compelling, and interactive Power BI dashboards and reports tailored for both operational and executive audiences.
    • Tenant Management: Manage Power BI workspaces, premium capacities, gateway configurations, and row-level security (RLS) implementation.
    Architecture Strategy & Consultation
    • Framework Implementation: Apply Medallion Architecture principles (Bronze/Silver/Gold layers) to organize and clean corporate data assets.
    • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional business leaders and product teams to gather requirements, define KPIs, and map out strategic corporate reporting roadmaps.
    • Best Practices: Establish and champion development standards, documentation templates, and CI/CD deployment pipelines for both data engineering and BI layers.
    Required Qualifications & Skills
    Technical Requirements
    • Data Warehousing: 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with at least 3+ years of dedicated, hands-on experience architecting solutions in Snowflake.
    • Business Intelligence: 3+ years of advanced experience developing enterprise solutions in Power BI (including Premium features, deployment pipelines, and advanced DAX).
    • SQL Mastery: Expert-level SQL skills for complex data analysis, transformation, and query performance tuning.
    • Programming: Strong proficiency in Python or Scala for data manipulation and pipeline automation.
    • Modern Data Stack: Familiarity with data orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Prefect) and transformation frameworks (e.g., dbt). Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is highly preferred.
    Professional & Consultative Skills
    • Strong business acumen with the ability to translate ambiguous business requests into concrete data engineering requirements.
    • Proven experience defining and executing corporate reporting strategies.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
    • Experience working in agile environments (Scrum/Kanban).
    Education & Certifications (Preferred)
    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field.
    • Preferred Certifications: Snowflake SnowPro Core/Advanced, Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300), or Fabric Analytics Engineer (DP-600).
