ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
We are seeking a Project Controls BI Analyst for a dynamic energy technology company which would be a great opportunity for someone with experience in Power BI development, data transformation, and project controls analytics looking to further their career in business intelligence and enterprise reporting.
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports supporting project planning, scheduling, cost tracking, and performance analytics
- Transform and consolidate data from multiple sources using Power Query to create actionable insights for project controls and PMO teams
- Perform advanced data validation and reconciliation using Excel to ensure reporting accuracy across disconnected systems
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors degree in STEM, Business, Analytics, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of Business Intelligence or Data Analytics experience supporting project management, PMO, or project controls organizations
- Advanced proficiency with Power BI, Power Query, and Microsoft Excel (complex formulas, data validation, analysis)
BONUS QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with Microsoft Project or Primavera P6 scheduling systems and project controls data
- Knowledge of data warehouse environments handling enterprise-scale datasets (millions of rows)
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms such as Snowflake
- Background in high-growth or dynamic environments requiring flexibility and rapid priority shifts
- Experience incorporating AI-enabled analytics into business intelligence solutions
