Beverage Server Unrefined

Summary:  Serves meals to patrons in food outlet according to established procedures and customer service standards.

Essential Job Functions: 

• Greets guests at the table. 
• Takes food and beverage order.  
• Responds to guest questions regarding food preparation and menu.  
• Inspects guest identification to ensure guest meets legal age limit for alcohol possession/consumption
• Monitors guest alcohol consumption and acts according to established alcohol awareness program guidelines. 
• Serves food and beverages. 
• Directs bus person and assists as needed in the clearing of tables.  
• Completes required side work.  
• Performs all other duties as assigned.  

Qualifications: 

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One or more years high volume food service experience required.  
• Knowledge of food and beverage order processing systems.  
• Must be available to work flexible shifts, weekends and holidays.  
• Ability to successfully fulfill the pre-employment process.

Physical and Mental Demands: 

• Regularly required to see, talk and hear; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, frequently required to stoop and kneel. 
• Must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.  
• Able to interact with others while maintaining a positive and courteous demeanor under frequently fast paced work conditions.
• Ability to count. 
• Ability to work in a noisy and smoky environment
