**Job Description:**
We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Parts Advisor to join our team at Bertera Subaru of West Springfield. The Parts Advisor will play a crucial role in ensuring our service department operates efficiently and our customers receive the parts and information they need promptly.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Assist customers and service technicians in locating the appropriate parts for their vehicle repairs and maintenance.
- Maintain an organized inventory of Subaru parts and accessories.
- Place orders for parts and ensure timely delivery for customer and service needs.
- Provide expert advice on Subaru parts, answering any questions and offering recommendations to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Keep up-to-date with new products and technical information to offer informed guidance to customers and colleagues.
- Monitor inventory levels and report shortages to management to ensure efficient stock management.
- Process customer orders and handle transactions accurately.
- Collaborate with the service team to ensure seamless communication and operations.
**Qualifications:**
- Previous experience as a Parts Advisor or in a related role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts, especially Subaru products.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency with computer systems and inventory software is an asset.
- A valid driver’s license may be required for parts delivery and stock handling.
