Job Description:
Apex Systems is hiring a Benefits Specialist for a large Healthcare client.
Location: fully remote anywhere in the US, must be comfortable supporting PST.
Role Overview
An experienced Benefits Specialist is required to support the end-to-end compliance and administration of employee retirement plans. This role focuses on ensuring legal, reporting, testing, documentation, and disclosure requirements are met for governmental agencies. The successful candidate will manage plan documentation, identify and remediate compliance issues, and support audit and third-party inquiries.

Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelors degree is required.
Experience: Minimum of seven years of experience in defined benefit pension plan administration. Proven experience reviewing pension claims, drafting appeals, and partnering with legal counsel is essential.
Technical Skills: Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel, including lookups, pivot tables, and database analysis. Experience utilizing Oracle or HCM database systems is required.
