Description

Job Title: LOA and Benefits Administrator

Location: Fountain Valley, CA (100% Onsite)

Employment Type: Temporary (3-6 months, with possible extension)

Schedule: Mon-Fri 7:30AM-4:30PM

Pay: $30-$35/hr. DOE

Our client is seeking a Bilingual Spanish Leave of Absence (LOA) & Benefits Administrator to support employees through leave administration, disability programs, ADA accommodations, and benefits processes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience administering FMLA, CFRA, ADA, STD/LTD, and employee benefits programs while delivering exceptional employee support.

Responsibilities

Leave of Absence Administration

  • Administer and track FMLA, CFRA, state leaves, personal leaves, ADA-related leaves, and other protected leave programs.
  • Coordinate Short-Term Disability (STD) and Long-Term Disability (LTD) claims.
  • Manage leave documentation, employee communications, approvals, extensions, and return-to-work processes.
  • Partner with employees, managers, and third-party administrators throughout the leave process.
  • Support ADA accommodations and the interactive process.

Benefits Administration

  • Administer employee benefits programs including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, FSA, and voluntary benefits.
  • Process enrollments, qualifying life events, and status changes.
  • Support open enrollment, benefits audits, and employee education.
  • Serve as a liaison between employees, vendors, and insurance carriers.

Qualifications

  • Bilingual English/Spanish highly preferred.
  • 3+ years of Leave of Absence, Benefits Administration, or HR Operations experience.
  • Experience administering:
    • FMLA
    • CFRA
    • ADA accommodations
    • STD/LTD programs
    • Employee benefits plans
  • Knowledge of HIPAA, COBRA, and state leave regulations.
  • Experience with HRIS, benefits platforms, and payroll systems preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
