Summary
The Benefits and Compliance Specialist is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with senior management. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: benefits administration, policy implementation, employee relations, training, performance management, employment law compliance, monthly reconciliation of payroll/benefit expenses, and preparation of benefit accruals and journal entries.

Conducts regular audits, staying updated with legal changes and provides training/guidance to the HR team and management.

Computer workstation and climate-controlled office environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. May occasionally enter production areas where personal protective equipment might be required to prevent or lessens exposure to airborne-borne powdered nutritional supplement substances.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30pm. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
