    Benefits & Compensation Analyst

    Position Summary

    The Benefits & Compensation Analyst is responsible for the day-to-day administration of employee benefits and compensation programs. This role focuses on optimizing HR technology platforms and processes to effectively deliver Total Rewards programs across the organization. The analyst helps ensure that compensation and benefits programs are administered accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable regulations.

The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational, analytical, and technical skills, along with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively. 

    Department Overview

    The Human Resources team serves as a strategic partner to the organization, supporting the attraction, retention, and development of a high-performing and diverse workforce. Through administration of employee benefits, compensation programs, talent acquisition, professional development, and employee engagement initiatives, the team helps foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefits inquiries, resolving complex issues received through shared mailboxes, email, phone, and other support channels.
    • Manage and coordinate the annual Open Enrollment process, including planning, communications, execution, and post-enrollment activities.
    • Audit benefits enrollment and related HR data to ensure accuracy and integrity across systems.
    • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve enrollment errors, system discrepancies, and data anomalies within the HRIS platform.
    • Schedule, monitor, and troubleshoot HR system integrations and data exchanges with external vendors, ensuring accurate and timely file transmissions.
    • Manage benefit vendor invoicing and payment processes, including invoice reconciliation, payment coordination, and tracking of benefit-related expenses.
    • Support annual audits and compliance activities by researching data, preparing documentation, and coordinating responses to audit requests.
    • Partner with HR leadership on compensation initiatives, including market benchmarking, job evaluations, salary surveys, pay analyses, and regulatory compliance efforts.
    • Conduct data analysis and reporting related to compensation and benefits programs to support organizational decision-making and strategy.
    • Participate in HR projects, process improvement initiatives, and special assignments as needed.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
    • 3-5 years of experience in benefits administration, compensation, human resources, or Total Rewards.
    • Experience administering benefits programs and working with HR information systems (HRIS).
    • Strong knowledge of benefits administration processes and applicable compliance requirements.
    • Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • 4-7 years of experience in benefits administration, compensation, human resources, or Total Rewards.
    • Experience with enterprise HRIS platforms, including benefits and/or compensation modules.
    • Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Professional certifications such as CEBS, CBP, CCP, SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar credentials.
    • Experience with compensation analysis, salary benchmarking, and Total Rewards program design.
