Bench General Manager

Lafrance Hospitality islooking to fill the position of Bench General Manager. The Bench GeneralManager provides Management assistance and Interim General Manager oversight to any assigned LafranceHospitality hotel. Participates in the operations of associated Companybusinesses on an as-needed basis. 

The successful candidateshould have the following work experience and skills.

·Ability to be mobile and relocated to properties asassigned, reliable transportation is a must.

·Solid knowledge, however obtained, of the hotelindustry.

·Sound general business acumen to assist in thedevelopment of the whole company.

·Sound managerial and team-building skills toeffectively lead an employee group.

·Good communication skills, both oral and written, tocommunicate with vendors, employees, and others in furtherance of the businessgoals and objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·Assumes all responsibilities, up to and includingGeneral Manager, for each hotel property as assigned.

·Provides support by mentoring, coaching, counseling,team building and evaluating performance, etc.

·Daily/weekly monitoring of all hotel operations, atassigned location

·Participates in the development of Hotel MarketingPlans, property improvement plans, operational and capital budgets for assignedhotel.

·Performs weekly/monthly review of financial reports

·Participates in the Revenue Management process forassigned hotel.

·Supports sales staff at assigned property to assureachievement of goals.

·Conducts Quarterly analysis to test achievement of thesales bonus plan.

·Participates in company-wide sales effort; monitorsand assists in the development and implementation of the sales plan.

·Assures compliance with human resources policies andprocedures.

·Represents the organization by participating in thebusiness community.

·Assists in further developing management company.

·Supports new General Managers by providing trainingand onboarding as assigned throughout the entire Lafrance Hospitality portfolio
