Behavioral Technician – Autistic Support (7th Grade Center) 

Location: Royersford, PA 19468 

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:45 AM–3:15 PM 

Job Summary Our client is seeking a compassionate and reliable Behavioral Technician to provide direct support to a 7th-grade student with autism while also assisting within the classroom environment. This role is ideal for someone who is patient, collaborative, and committed to fostering a positive learning experience for students with behavioral and developmental needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct behavioral support to a student with autism.

• Assist with behavior management, including elopement prevention and responding to occasional aggression.

• Support classroom staff in implementing behavior intervention strategies.

• Document student progress, behavioral incidents, and daily notes accurately.

• Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children with autism or behavioral challenges preferred.

• Ability to remain calm, professional, and solution‑focused in high‑stress situations.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Dependable, punctual, and committed to student success.

• Act 126: Child Abuse Recognition & Reporting Training (3 hours every 5 years) – Proof required.

• TB Test: Must meet state guidelines and be submitted within 30 days of start date.
