    Job Purpose:

    • The Behavioral Tech III at LIFESTREAM BEHAVIORAL CENTER is responsible for providing advanced support and care to individuals with behavioral health needs. This role involves working within a multidisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of high-quality services and support to clients during Shift 1. The position requires a compassionate and professional approach to assist clients in achieving their treatment goals and improving their overall well-being.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Monitor and support clients through direct observation and interaction, ensuring their safety and well-being.
    • Implement and follow individualized care plans and treatment protocols as directed by clinical staff.
    • Assist in the development and facilitation of therapeutic activities and group sessions.
    • Document client behavior, progress, and any incidents accurately and in a timely manner.
    • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
    • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of client care strategies.
    • Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients and staff by adhering to health and safety regulations.
    • Respond to emergencies and provide crisis intervention as needed, following established protocols.
    • Support the onboarding and training of new staff members by sharing expertise and knowledge.
    • Continuously update skills and knowledge through professional development opportunities.

    Required Education:

    • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.

    Required Experience:

    • Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a behavioral health setting.
    • Proven track record of managing and supporting clients with diverse behavioral health needs.
    • Experience in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques.

    Required Skills and Abilities:

    • Strong understanding of behavioral health principles and practices.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members.
    • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
    • Proficiency in maintaining accurate and timely documentation and case notes.
    • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
    • Familiarity with relevant regulatory requirements and ethical standards in behavioral health services.
    • Competency in utilizing technology and electronic health records for client management.
