Behavioral Support and Transportation Specialist - Youth Services

Role Overview: We are seeking a Behavioral Support and Transportation Specialist to work with children involved in the DFCS system, providing vital transportation and behavioral intervention services.

Key Duties:

• Transport children to school, medical appointments, and family visits safely.
• Use de-escalation techniques to manage and support children’s emotional needs during travel.
• Collaborate with DFCS caseworkers to provide updates on child behavior and incidents.
• Assist in implementing individualized behavior plans during transport.

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of experience in behavioral support or social services.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle stressful situations with a calm demeanor.
