Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students! Cross Country Education is seeking dedicated Behavioral Intervention Specialists (BII) to provide 1:1 behavioral and instructional support to K–12 students in the Palos Verdes, CA area throughout the 2026–2027 school year.
Position Overview
- Provide 1:1 instructional and behavioral support to K–12 students using ABA methodologies.
- Implement behavioral intervention programs aligned with students’ IEP goals, including behavior management and curriculum modifications.
- Collect and document student behavioral data to track progress and support interventions.
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and other support personnel to promote student engagement, safety, and progress.
- Provide physical assistance and personal care support, including toileting when required. Candidates must be comfortable assisting students with toileting needs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; 2+ years of full-time experience providing ABA-based behavioral support required
- Minimum 40-hour Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) seminar or workshop training required, with knowledge of ABA techniques, child development, and classroom behavior management
- Valid Driver's License
- CPI Certification preferred
