Summary
The Virtual Preceptor is a critical member of our team, responsible for supporting and mentoring new hire providers, including advanced practice providers (APPs) and physicians, as they begin their careers with Curana. This role combines clinical expertise, teaching skills, best practices, and a passion for fostering growth in others. As a Virtual Preceptor, you''ll play a pivotal role in ensuring our new providers have a seamless orientation experience and are well prepared to deliver exceptional care. You will provide education on workflows and clinical best practices while reinforcing learned concepts virtually in a group setting.
This position will support behavioral health (psychiatry/psychology) and primary care providers, as well as providers joining Curana through acquisitions.
Virtual Preceptor roles are fluid to meet the capacity needs of new provider hires. As such, you may be asked to assume additional virtual educational roles or support on-the-job training as needs arise. Occasional opportunities for direct patient care may be available depending on coverage needs and reasonable proximity to a Curana facility.
