UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh is hiring Part-Time Behavioral Health Therapists to support our Walk-In Clinics in Lawrenceville and Bridgeville!

Clinic Hours: Monday thru Friday 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. & Saturdays 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. 20 Hours per Week

Title and Rate of Pay will be based on Education and Experience.

This position offers a sign-on bonus of $2,500 for a 1-year work commitment and $3,500 for a 2-year work commitment.

Make a lasting impact in a child's life - one session at a time. The Behavioral Health Walk-In Clinic at UPMC Children's Hospital provides compassionate, same-day care for youth up to age 18 experiencing non-urgent behavioral health concerns.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver targeted behavioral health assessment
  • Implement one-time therapeutic interventions
  • Coordinate with existing care teams and community resources
  • Provide short term bridge therapy to appropriate patients and families
  • Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Education in school counseling, or related field required.
  • Two years of clinical experience diagnosing and treating behavioral and psychiatric conditions required.
  • Knowledge of psychiatric evaluation and assessment process, as well as application of current version of the DSM required.

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC or Licensed Marriage Family Therapist (LMFT is required.
