Job Responsibilities:
The Behavioral Health Therapist I is responsible for:
Meeting with patients to complete psychosocial assessments, treatment plans, as well as individual, group, and family therapy as deemed appropriate for each individual patient.
Conducting case management activities as well as discharge planning and maintaining appropriate documentation.
Providing appropriate therapeutic and educational interventions, services, and is knowledgeable about community resources.
Performing other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Education: Masters prepared in the field of Clinical Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy, or other related field.
Certification/License: BLS (Basic Life Support).
Experience: 2 years clinical related experience or 9-month internship.
Preferred Qualifications:
Education: Masters in Social Work, Psychology, or Related Field.
Experience: 1 year of relevant experience with Masters.
Licenses: LMFT (Marriage and Family), LMHC (Mental Health), or LCSW (Social Work).
