Our department provides outpatient mental health for children in the office and school settings. Our counselors work closely with local schools to provide therapy services to students during their school day.
The purpose of this job is to provide clinical treatment services to the targeted populations, including a comprehensive needs assessment and provision of case management services including assessment, service linkage, resource development, coordination of all services received, and advocacy. Services are provided in an outpatient program designed to service patients with a mental health or substance use disorder diagnosis who meets dimensions for all levels of care.
Sign-on bonus of up to $7,000 for a 2-year work commitment!
Responsibilities:
Patient Assessment & Treatment
Care Coordination
Documentation & Quality
Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation, case records, and service authorizations.
Participate in treatment team meetings, case reviews, and discussions regarding patient progress and care needs.
Support quality improvement initiatives and perform duties in accordance with organizational standards and professional competencies.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Education in school counseling, or related field required.
Completion of a human services related internship/practicum or 1 year of relevant human services experience.
Knowledge of psychiatric evaluation and assessment process preferred.
