As a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) at Pyramid Healthcare, you'll work directly with individuals who are taking important steps toward recovery from substance use disorders. You'll be part of their daily experience—providing support, encouragement, structure, and a safe environment while learning valuable skills in behavioral healthcare.

No prior behavioral health experience required. If you have a high school diploma or GED, a dependable attitude, and a genuine desire to help others, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do

• Welcome and support new clients as they enter treatment
• Help clients navigate their daily schedules and activities
• Provide encouragement and support as clients work toward their treatment goals
• Monitor client behavior and emotional well-being
• Respond appropriately when clients need additional support, including during challenging situations
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive treatment environment
• Assist with clients' daily needs and activities
• Observe and document medication self-administration when applicable
• Complete required documentation and training
• Protect client privacy and confidentiality
• Work alongside the clinical team to support each client's recovery

Some BHTs Also Provide Transportation

If hired as a BHT Driver, you'll also:

• Safely transport clients to appointments, meetings, and other approved locations
• Supervise clients during transportation
• Complete transportation logs and required documentation
• Follow company vehicle and safety procedures

What You Need

• High school diploma or GED
• No behavioral healthcare experience required
• A compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented approach
• Valid driver's license required for BHT Driver positions

Position Details

6226 University Park Drive, Radford, VA 24141
$15.00/hour + shift differentials
12-hour shifts | 7 AM–7 PM or 7 PM–7 AM
40 hours/week with weekend scheduling
