Compensation & Benefits:
Starting Pay: $21.00 to $23.00 per hour
Night Shift: 6:45pm-7:15am
Paid Time Off (PTO) Starting at 16 Days/Year

Position Summary:
Behavioral Health Technicians provide support services to clients with mental health challenges in community-based residential settings, promoting independence, safety and well-being. They assist with daily living, implement treatment plans, foster community integration, and collaborate as part of the Dani’s Place treatment team, following all State, Agency and Program guidelines.
Key Responsibilities & Role Highlights:
Support residents at Dani’s Place according to state mandates, agency policies, and individual service plans.
Assess clients’ needs, considering mental health history and symptoms, and implement appropriate interventions.
Deliver treatment plans, document services in electronic records, and maintain confidentiality per federal and agency guidelines.
Intervene in crises, stabilize clients, and promote recovery, communication, and independent living skills.
Assist clients in accessing services, developing skills, and provide advocacy and symptom monitoring using clinical judgment.
Participate in team meetings, supervision, trainings, and professional development while maintaining licensure and certifications.
Support clients with prescribed medications under licensed nurse supervision, ensuring safety, compliance, and autonomy.
Education & Experience Requirements:
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent with at least one year of experience.
Required CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
Required CPI certification within 90 days of hire.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must demonstrate knowledge of mental illness including the SED population, crisis management and the ability to establish and maintain therapeutic relationships with clients.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings and weekends.
Must demonstrate the ability to define problems, analyze data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions and make recommendations.
Must establish and maintain effective working relationships.
Must be able to work with ill, disabled, emotionally upset and at times hostile individuals.
