This position works as a dynamic and motivated individual as a part of our team as an overnight Behavioral Health Specialist I at Fairfax Detox. Fairfax Detox is a fast-paced, 24/7 program that provides safe withdrawal management services to individuals withdrawing from a variety of substances. With admissions occurring around the clock, our team plays an essential role in maintaining a safe, supportive, and structured environment for individuals throughout the withdrawal management process.
We are looking for someone who is motivated, dependable, and comfortable working various shifts in a fast-paced setting. Employment Standards
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a bachelors degree in psychology, social work, sociology, nursing, public health or a related field;
OR a bachelor's degree and a valid Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) or Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) certification.

Ability to drive County vehicle 2-3 consecutive hours and assist sometimes large, intoxicated individuals to and from vehicle. Ability to observe client behavior/appearance & be able to converse with clients & co-workers. Ability to use keyboard driven equipment and to sit, walk, stand, bend & write as needed to complete duties of job. All duties may be performed with or without reasonable accommodation.
