Job Announcement
The Fairfax-Falls Church Community Services Board has an exciting opportunity for a senior clinician to serve in a team lead role on the Intensive Case Management (ICM) Team, working in a collaborative environment providing services to adults with serious mental illness and co-occurring disorders. We are seeking a candidate with strong clinical and case management experience with demonstrated leadership qualities to help guide and support this multidisciplinary team.
The ICM team provides comprehensive services including community-based intensive case management, crisis intervention and stabilization, as well as assistance with obtaining and maintaining entitlements, resources, and services to meet basic needs. The team includes nurses, psychiatric providers, a senior clinician, a supervisor, and behavioral health specialists.
The team provides engagement and treatment services in a variety of community settings such as homes, shelters, employment sites, jails, and hospitals. Intensive case management services are highlighted by a strong emphasis on recovery, advocacy, empowerment, and partnership. The team is committed to empowering individuals to take an active role in their recovery and to supporting individuals in building the skills needed to manage their daily lives independently while successfully living in the community.
Schedule and Location: Work hours for the position are 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Some evening and alternative schedules may be required to meet client's needs. The position is located at Heritage Building, 7611 Little River Turnpike, East Building, Annadale, VA 22003.

Employment Standards
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduation from an accredited college with a masters degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or nursing; plus two years of clinical experience.
CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES REQUIRED:
Possession of a current license to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia in one of the following:
Licensed Clinical Social Worker,
Licensed Professional Counselor,
Clinical Psychologist,
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist,
Licensed Substance Abuse Treatment Practitioner or
Licensed Nurse Practitioner.
CPR/First Aid (Required within 3 months)
Valid motor vehicle drivers license with fewer than six demerit points (or equivalent in another state) and maintained throughout employment with CSB.
MANDT - within 3 months of hire
Qualified Mental Health Case Manager (QMHCM) - within 30 days of hire
Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) or Qualified Mental Health Professional Trainee (QMHP-Trainee)- within 30 days of hire
UNDERFILL REQUIREMENTS:
This vacancy may be underfilled at the level of Behavioral Health Clinician in Residence (S26, $76,983.71 - $134,721.60). The employment standards for the Behavioral Health Clinician in Residence are:

Upon completion of an underfill agreement (which will require that the employee meet the employment standards stated above in addition to obtaining competencies and licensures defined by the hiring agency) the employee will be elevated to the level of Behavioral Health Senior Clinician.
Note: A registered licensed eligible mental health professional has been approved by the applicable Virginia health regulatory board as a supervisee in clinical social work or a resident in clinical psychology, professional counseling, substance abuse treatment practice, or marriage and family therapy.

Ability to drive a car and conduct out of office visits in homes, hospitals, jails, shelters, or outdoors; communicate with clients and coworkers; observe and report on client appearance and behavior. Ability to sit, walk, stand and bend; make clinical interventions; operate keyboard driven computer equipment, tablet device, and enter/retrieve data on electronic health record. Ability to walk significant distances within multiple buildings, climb stairs, and respond to physical requirements, necessary to comply with security and safety regulations. Ability to attend offsite meetings and trainings. Communicate effectively orally and in writing and observe, process, and document clinical information. Ability to access, input, and retrieve computer data. All duties performed with or without reasonable accommodations.
