The accurate and timely performance of job duties of the Registration Technician directly impacts the revenue received by the Kenaitze Indian Tribe. Essential FunctionsGreets all un'ina, co-workers with a smile- provides exceptional customer service with each interactionResponsible for un'ina registration, ensuring accurate capture and data entry of all un'ina updated demographic and insurance informationEnsures capture of all charges for services provided at Behavioral HealthOperates credit card machine and cash drawerScans ID, CIB, and insurance cards into electronic registration packageHands out referral forms, intake packets, educational materials, as neededVerification of insuranceMonitors waiting room behaviors; notify Safety & Security in the event of disruptive un'inaMake reminder phone calls for appointmentsSort mail and ensure delivery to appropriate personnel and provide assistance to Behavioral Health Department as neededIt is the intent of this job description to highlight the essential functions of the position; however, it is not an all-inclusive list.
