    What You’ll Do & Bring

    As a Behavioral Health Medical Assistant, you will support providers and care teams by delivering patient-centered care and maintaining efficient clinical workflows.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide direct patient care including intake, vitals, screenings, testing, and injections
    • Assist providers with exams, procedures, treatment plans, medication refills, and prior authorizations
    • Manage internal communications and respond to patient and team inquiries in a timely manner
    • Support laboratory processes, including specimen collection and communicating results to patients
    • Assist in maintaining provider schedules and supporting clinic productivity goals
    • Participate in daily huddles and collaborate with care teams to prepare for patient visits
    • Provide translation assistance when needed for verbal and written communications
    • Maintain logs, records, and reports in accordance with department standards
    • Ensure medical supplies are stocked and available for clinic operations
    • Perform emergency procedures in accordance with approved protocols
    • Adhere to all organizational policies, clinical guidelines, and confidentiality standards
    • Perform additional duties as assigned within scope

    What You Bring:

    • High school diploma or GED
    • Completion of a Medical Assistant program from a state-approved school (Certified or Registered preferred)
    • At least one year of experience in healthcare or behavioral health
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions
    • Ability to multitask and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary care teams
    • Proficiency with technology and electronic medical records systems

    Preferred:

    • Bilingual in Vietnamese or Spanish
