Develops and maintains consultative and liaison relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders and provides emergency services as required.
Are you a licensed clinician ready to lead? We have a permanent, direct hire opening for a Behavioral Health Helpline Coordinator at a large regional health system in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This is a full-time evening shift role supporting a 24/7 crisis and behavioral health telephonic helpline.
What You'll Do
Lead day-to-day clinical operations for a live behavioral health helpline, providing oversight and guidance to Helpline Specialists handling crisis calls. You'll conduct telephonic crisis intervention, suicide risk assessment (C-SSRS), and real-time triage — connecting callers in crisis or seeking behavioral health support to the right level of care. You'll also oversee staff training, lead process improvement initiatives, and serve as a clinical liaison across departments.

Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or related mental health field
Active LCSW, LMFT, or LMHC (Indiana) — must be able to bill independently
3–5 years of licensed clinical therapy experience
C-SSRS competency required upon hire
EMR and Microsoft Office experience preferred
Background in intake, triage, or crisis line operations a plus
Why This Role
Permanent direct hire — full benefits, PTO, and retirement from day one
Evening shift with a consistent, long-term schedule
Lead-level role with real influence over team operations and clinical standards
Mission-driven work making a difference for individuals in behavioral health crisis
