    Job Overview:

    The purpose of this position is to serve as part of the ambulatory treatment team providing direct behavioral health services to patients. Duties may include consultation, assessment, individual/family/group counseling/psychotherapy, education, prevention, medical exam room-based intervention, referral and service coordination with other community agencies and programs. Assist with program development and evaluation as directed. Perform other clinical, administrative, educational and/or research duties (commensurate with training and ethical scope of practice) as needed and directed.

    Location: Good Samaritan Free Clinic

    Schedule: 20-working hours weekly to be scheduled Monday-Friday, Day shift.

    Job Requirements:

    Master's Degree

    Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW); OR

    Licensed Professional Clinical Consultant (LPCC)

    Generalist knowledge of a wide variety behavioral health conditions and evidence based treatment modalities to serve diverse groups of patients across the lifespan

    Must be able to work in a team based integrated brief treatment model

    Up to 3 years experience Professional Clinical Social Worker or Clinical Consultant

    Job Responsibilities:

    Clinical Responsibilities

    • Assessments: Evaluate mental health, life stress, and behavioral health histories
    • Treatment Planning: Build personalized recovery and wellness goals with clients
    • Direct Therapy: Lead individual counseling sessions
    • Crisis Management: Handle acute emotional distress and de-escalate urgent situations
    • Documentation: Keep accurate, secure, and confidential client records in EPIC

    Community and Resource Duties

    • Case Management: Link clients to housing, food assistance, and job programs
    • Care Coordination: Work alongside doctors, psychiatrists and specialists for collaborative, person-centered care
    • Advocacy: Help vulnerable people navigate complex public health systems
