Key Responsibilities
- Maintain current knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorder and related conditions.
- Conduct annual and ongoing behavioral and skills-based assessments.
- Develop, implement, train staff on, and oversee behavioral and skills-based support and intervention plans.
- Provide direct behavioral intervention and support as needed.
- Travel to other day habilitation programs as needed.
- Maintain effective data collection systems, including data analysis and data-driven decision-making.
- Provide clinical consultation to program staff regarding participant behavior and environmental supports.
- Use clear and effective communication to promote collaboration and information sharing among staff, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Prepare participant-specific and program-specific reports and documentation.
- Participate in agency training initiatives and professional development activities.
- Supervise and mentor staff participating in the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) program.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Psychology or a related Human Services field.
- Experience or certification in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) preferred, but not required.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
- Must be comfortable working with individuals who may have significant behavioral, medical, and support needs.
- Ability to travel between program locations as needed.
