Schedule: Full-time and part-time available

Shifts:

  • Mon/Wed/Fri: 7:00 AM–3:00 PM or 3:00 PM–11:00 PM
  • Tue/Thu/Sat: 7:00 AM–3:00 PM or 3:00 PM–11:00 PM
  • Mon//Wed/Fri: 7:00 AM-5:00 PM Full-Time

New Haven is hiring Behavioral Health Technicians / Mental Health Technicians to support adolescent girls in a residential treatment setting in Saratoga Springs, Utah.

 

This role is a strong fit for candidates interested in behavioral health, psychology, social work, counseling, youth mentoring, or residential treatment. You’ll provide hands-on support through daily routines, group activities, coping skills, emotional regulation, and structured programming while working closely with therapists and clinical staff.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct care and behavioral health support to adolescent residents
  • Lead and participate in daily routines, group activities, and therapeutic programming
  • Support the development of healthy coping skills, communication, and emotional regulation
  • Assist with minor food preparation and model healthy lifestyle habits
  • Maintain a safe, structured, trauma‑informed environment
  • Collaborate with therapists and clinical staff to support individualized treatment plans
  • Document daily progress notes and communicate key updates to leadership
  • Use safe verbal de‑escalation and physical intervention skills when needed
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 21 years of age or older
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
  • Ability to pass a Utah State background check
  • Willingness to commit to a minimum of 8 months
  • Ability to obtain a Food Handler’s Permit before the first day of work
